Colours

This is my first blog post, in which case I shall start with poetry. Is that not what important people at important parties do? Quote something great from a famous philosopher? My quotes may include authors and movies as well as cw tv shows.

Have you ever stopped in wonder
to sit for a while and ponder
over the colours and shades of our understanding
and yonder?

Every colour a different shade
Every shade a different name being made
An array of colours
Every splish, splash and splutters,
are like the emotions within,
The bright colours of beauty and life
the colours almost dark as sin.

They're more so a part of our being
than just what we're seeing

Open your eyes to colours
Open your mind to more of its wonders
They each tell a story
All special in its glory

And your heart will open to see,
your mind will open to be
more accepting of all
including me.
